ABOUT THE CONTEST
Creative Guidelines:
Animate more than 2,000 photos of Robert Strong - The Comedy Magician - to create a viral video highlighting Robert’s ability as an entertainer. Photos and other content available at the following web addresses using the password “rsepics” when prompted:

- :30 seconds to 1 minute in length
- be creative/ unique/ unusual
- keep to magic/ comedy theme
- must include 3 graphics: “Robert Strong” “The Comedy Magician”
“www.StrongEntertainment.com”
- must show Robert Strong (Sponsor) in positive light
- no nudity or foul language
- do not use copyright images/graphics/logos
- must use royalty free music
- Upload to YouTube and send an email to info@strongentertainment.com
with the word “Contest” in the subject line and the YouTube link in the
body of the email. Please include everyone’s name that worked on the
submission, mailing addresses, email addresses, and contact phone numbers
- feel free to use all mediums ( i.e. flash, animation, flipbook, claymation,
photos, sound, sound fx, music, fine art, digital art, 3-D graphics, etc...)
Contest Details: Entries must be between :30 seconds and one-minute in length. Entries must be uploaded to YouTube.com by April 15, 2008 at 11:59pm P.S.T. First, second and third prize winners will be announced on April 21, 2008. Additional award for the most views on Youtube.com will be announced May 15th, 2008. Multiple submissions are allowable. Entries that include, are derived from, or incorporate in any way inappropriate material or copyrighted material (excepting such copyrighted material owned by Sponsor) are not eligible and will be disqualified.
1. Contest: Presented by Strong Entertainment (“Sponsor”). Contest starts March 1, 2008 and contest ends April 15, 2008 at 5 p.m. P.S.T. (the “Contest Period”).
2. Eligibility: Contest open to legal residents of the United States of America ages sixteen (16) and older (“Entrants”).
3. How to Enter: Please upload your submission within the Contest Period to
YouTube.com.
Release of Contestants: All Entrants, as a condition of entry into the Contest, agree to release Sponsor from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with: accessing http://www.StrongEntertainment.com or http://homepage.mac.com/strongentertainment (“Web Sites”) or Contest; submitting an entry or otherwise participating in any aspect of the Contest; the receipt, ownership or use of any prize awarded; preparing for, participating in or traveling to and/or from any prize-related activity, or; any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement of offering of any prize. The winner shall bear all risk of loss or damage to their prize after it has been delivered. Sponsor makes no representations or warranties of any kind concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prize. The winners grant to Sponsor the right to print, publish, broadcast and use worldwide in any media now known or hereinafter known (including without limitation use online at the Web Site) the entry’s name, address, voice, statement, picture or other likeness, without additional compensation, for public relations, advertising and promotional purposes as may be determined by Sponsor.
4. Prizes: One (1) First Prize will be awarded for $1500. One (1) Second Place Prize will be awarded for $500. One (1) Third Place Prize will be awarded for $250. One (1) additional prize of $250 will be award to the entrant whose video receives the most views on YouTube. Strong Entertainment reserves the right not to award or to rescind award of any prize for any reason. Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw or terminate the Contest at any time for any reason. Prizes must be redeemed by June 1, 2008, and may not be combined with any other offer. The prizes will be awarded (assuming a minimum of twenty (20) eligible entries). No substitution or transfer of prize permitted. Sponsor responsible only for prize delivery; not responsible for prize utility. Taxes and fees, if any, are the sole responsibility of prize winner.
5. Selection of Winners: The winners will be selected by Robert Strong, Strong Entertainment. Winner will be notified by email. All decisions are final on all matters relating to this Contest.
No illegible, incomplete, forged or altered entries will be accepted. All entries, will become the exclusive property of the Sponsor. By entering, each entrant unconditionally assigns and transfers to Sponsor any and all rights which they now have or may in the future have including, without limitation, the copyrights therein, in any medium whatsoever. Sponsor will have the unrestricted right to use, alter, publish, display or transfer however it sees fit without further approval of or payment to entrant. By making a submission, you are certifying to Sponsor that you have the right to use all source material used to create the submission. Winners need not be present at the awards ceremony to collect prize.
General: This Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. This Contest will be governed by the internal laws of the United States of America. Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Contest must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States of America. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, or misdirected entries, mail or communications, for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices, or transmission lines or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise. Further, Sponsor is not responsible for electronic communications which are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in entrant’s e-mail account to receive e-mail messages. The use of automated software or computer programs to register or to enter the Contest or that are embedded is prohibited and any individual who uses or attempts to use such methods to enter will be disqualified. Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with, this Contest, and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend this Contest should any virus, bug, technical failures, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Contest. In the event of any such cancellation, termination or suspension, a notice will be posted and the winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received prior to such time.
