The Indianapolis Convention and Visitors Association (ICVA) Video Production Department has an immediate opening for a full-time Video Production Assistant.

The ideal candidate will possess previous broadcast video experience and strong organizational abilities to assist with the on-going production of all video elements. Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

1.Primary function is to shoot and edit the weekly award-winning video podcast Doing Indy.
2.Assist with the production of local, regional and national television commercials.
3.Recruit and coordinate talent for all videos as well as coordinate pre-production elements such as permits, venues and authorizations.
4.Support Video Production Manager in creative process in producing all video for internal and external clients.
5.Attend and participate in creative and planning meetings.
6.Strong ability to operate in a dynamic team environment.

This is a highly-coveted position so we are looking for the best of the best. This is terrific organization with opportunities to learn, grow and develop your skills. This position is active and requires a strong work ethic with a tremendous attention to detail. Candidates must be reliable, punctual and have their own vehicle. Must be able to work with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. There will not be any reimbursement for relocation with this position.

Qualifications:

1.Must be experienced with broadcast video production equipment such as camcorders, microphones, and lighting.
2.Audio engineering experience is a plus but not required.
3.Experience editing in Final Cut Studio is required.
4.Knowledge of or experience in Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Combustion and/or Apple Shake is desired but not required.
5.Basic color correction experience with waveform/vectorscope monitors.
6.Demonstrated experience in digital media production and video encoding is preferred.
7.Remedial knowledge of Photoshop is required/desired.
8.Customer-focused with a team player mentality. Must be able to adapt to flexible schedule and changing circumstances.
9.Must have positive attitude and be resourceful.
