hello people
i have a large library of clips shot on my iphone (using cycorder) with a variable frame rate of between 10 and 18 fps, which i want to use in a new project. i am most amazed yet confused by the power of the realviz plugs in after effects and wanted some advice to smoothing out the low frame rate and jerky clips before rendering them to standard PAL for editing into a work. i am using split screen and various other techniques for a very interesting new project.
thanks thanks
simon

If you have Twixtor (RE:Vision) and After Effects, you can simply
set the comp settings to 25 FPS and apply Twixtor to each with FPS in set to the value indicated.

Twixtor does not blend adjacent frames, it analyzes the images and determine the motion of each pixel (to the next frame) and based on that warps in-betweens so you have distinct in-between frames where you did not before.
