Color Finesse 1.x and 2.x are considered to be different plug-ins. They co-exist nicely, so you didn't need (or want) to uninstall 1.5 when upgrading to 2.1.

We did this so that existing project wouldn't render differently depending on which version of Color Finesse happened to be installed.

To upgrade an existing project you can save the Color Finesse settings for each clip, change which CF version is applied, then re-load the settings.

Thanks for helping me!
I want to ask you one more cuestion then... I have a two hours feature film in wich half of the clips with Color Finesse applied. Worth upgrading CF to 2.x if i have such work done with CF 1.5.x?
I'll be compensated with stability and image quality?
Thanks again.

And with some ease-of-use enhancements, such as the ability to scrub within clips, the ability to reset individual controls, and better external preview handling.

And if you're on the Mac, native Intel support for FCP and After Effects CS3.

Since it's treated as a separate plug-in, you can download and install the demo version of CF 2.1 and give it a try to help you make the decision.
