"low pass" waveform option

I am currently reading Color Correction for digital video (great book!). The book is not specific to Synthetic apature's color finess though.

Is it possible to set the waveform to a low pass option? A lot of the book seems to use this feature, and I can't seem to find an option anywhere.

We don't currently have a low pass waveform option, but that's a good idea! Thanks for the suggestion.

Any chance of offering the following waveform filter modes (Flat, low pass, and chroma?)

Hi, Tony.

We have some of what you are looking for:

Flat - we have this, and call it "YC."

Chroma (sometimes labeled "3.58") - we have this too, and call it "Luma."

Low pass would be useful to show an average value for setting midtones, but in digital video we're often looking for the peaks--which won't be visible in low pass--since peaks are what can cause problems.
