I'm not sure why it would have stopped working. I'd troubleshoot it as follows:
- Make sure Echo Fire is configured and working. The Screen Writer application is the simplest way to do this. If you don't get an image on the broadcast monitor, then check to be sure Echo Fire has the correct video output device selected, that the converter box (if any) is in the right mode, and that the monitor has the correct input selected.
- If Echo Fire checks out as working, then make sure that you don't have another application using the video output device. That includes FCP or After Effects. If you are using Echo Fire for previewing in AE, then the switching of the video connection is automatic. If you are using AE's video previewing, or are using FCP, then you need to manually disable the video connection before calling up Color Finesse. In FCP you can use command-F12 to toggle the connection.
- Finally, check the Color Finesse preferences to be make sure that Echo Fire is enabled for previewing.
Since you've had it all working in the past, I would suspect a recent change in preferences to be the most likely cause.
