I'm trying to keyframe Velocity, Position and Life for Particular's OrganicLinesMotion Animation Preset and it won't just do anything. The particles stick to the first keyframe value and don't change over time....what can it be..??

Because none of the parameters you are animating is used in this preset. This has been discussed a dozen times. This preset is driven by wind, turbulence and aux particles.
