Maya Ocean Wake Vibrations?

It's a really simple question with a simple answer:

I created my ocean and ocean wake. I rendered a simulation, and I realized the wake emitter was creating some weird vibrations on the surface. I know there's a damp setting for pond dynamics but I couldn't find anything similar for oceans. Can anyone help me?
