trolley animation

hi,

i have a rigged trolley. i want to animate it along a rail. my path is twisted, bended and rotated in some areas. how can i move my trolley along this rail?

i want my trolley's wheels fit correctly in the rail too. i tried attach to motion path but i can't get the wheels aligned correctly.

please help.
