Curves.

hello ive had this many times.
whenever i get a .ai file from a client their curvers are always messed up..
i found my self to just draw their curves in hand..
but i thought to myself there must be an easyer way to do this..
how would you go about cleaning up curves like theese?

Not much you can do about the curves even in Illustrator but you can try and clean it up in Maya by adding and deleting CVs.
The bevel issue you are having can be fixed with smaller attribute numbers on the depth and bevel itself.
Sorry Im no where near Maya to explain which attributes.

actually try this.
open your file in Illustrator and scale the whole logo and its contents up to 4 times original.
you might to make your artboard bigger.
not sure if Maya likes vector off the actual doc.
now bring that into Maya and try the Bevel Plus again.
Or you can just scale the original EPS in Maya before applying bevel.
Ive had this happen where the vector is physically to small compared to the scene and of course Bevel attributes.
