Hi there.

I have recently got maya 2012 and I have just tried to slow down a fluid sim using the frames per second option in settings. The sim is caches at 24fps and then slowed to 300fps. In 2010 it would slow it down fine but in 2012 the sim only advances a step every 10 frames. I'm not sure what is wrong here. What am I missing?

Any ideas?

Kind Regards

Okay, Interesting fact.

you can't seem to use the frames per second setting to slow a fluid down if you are also using "auto resize" in any of the more recent maya versions. Correct me if i'm wrong.

All the best
