Renders to amiga audio???
by jack halsey on Jun 13, 2009 at 1:48:31 am

Hello

I just dont understand this. I am doing some rendering in Maya and am using the stereo cameras. When I select stereo pair and hit render I go to the destination and find it has rendered them as right and left but as amiga audio files. Huh? Its just a picture with NO audio,

Please advise and thank you.

Hi

:D is not amiga audio
IFF is maya's proprietary image file format, to see those files open them with the included FCHECK tool, you can also import those to after effects, fusion, nuke, and there's even a plugin for photoshop.

If you don't what to render iff files, change the type in the render globals, you can choose tif, jpg, png etc.

IFF was an image format created by Electronic Arts for the Amiga back in the 80's.

If I remember correctly, IFF was also used for text, audio, video and a bunch of other things.
