I have a 600 frame animation, where the camera is static, but 5 different objects move out of a building. It's not a complex animation at all, though the models are fairly complex (6 in all). Every time I try to batch render, Maya crashes on me. Any suggestions? Maya 8.5, Quad 2.0 G5, 8 gigs of RAM, OS 10.4.11.

Thanks, Karen

hi
there could be a 100 reasons, empty geo, corrupted meshes, very long history on objects, you can try and use the OPTIMIZE SCENE SIZE option under the FILE menu, open the script editor and see if it does fix some stuff, be aware that this is NOT UNDOABLE, so, save a back up scene before this.

hope that helps
