 | Looking to buy a camcorder, tips?
by Baptiste Carrara on Aug 17, 2012 at 4:24:11 am |
Looking for a Canon (Or Nikon) camcorder to do shooting with.
As a college student, my budget is very limited so I maybe buying used.
I currently use the Flip Video and I'l like an upgrade form it.
Something HD, of course.
30 FPS or 60 FPS.
The Flip has the huge issue of becoming very crappy footage in low light, I would like something that doesn't do that.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Baptiste, there are so many choices that you really need to do more education on the Internet to narrow it down. You have posted here to a Canon board, so we have a bias on Canon over others, if we have a bias at all (these are just tools, after all).
You need to do a better job of understanding and explaining the kinds of shooting you are doing, to better understand the choices. (i.e. Sports,Narrative, Documentary, theater, weddings)
Start with any and all of the discussion forums on "which camera to buy" found here, and on many other similar boards on the net.

Alright, I understand, and thanks for your help.
I'll do more research before posting a new post.
Thanks.
