Down Converting

Down Converting

I recorded in HDV 24 and I want to down convert to SD. I see the Down convert option in the playback menu but it is greyed out. How do I access it?

Since you didn't mention what camera you have I'm going to assume an A1? In any event, once you disconnect the firewire cable, make your menu change, then re-connect the firewire cable.

Work in HDV then output to ProRes422. It just looks cleaner.
