i have a quadro 2000
i´m a newbie with this informatic issues
i have an stupid question i guess
referring to the connections screen-cpu, how does it work?

when i plug my dvi cable from the cpu to the screen, i have to plug also an hdmi cable from the computer?

2 cables (one is the hdmi and the other is the dp conection of the graphic card, conected to the dvi adapter and connected to the screen), or just 1 cable (dp conection from the graphic card to the dp-dvi adapter -to the screen?

im kind of lost with this stupid thing here

thx guys! :)

No. With a single monitor, you should only need the single HDMI or DVI, not both.
If it's not working, tell us what monitor it is and what connection you are using to connect it.
