when i download apple quicktime player from apple.com and then try to play it, it tells me i need "apple application support". Can someone explain what it is and why i need this when it says i installed quicktime successfully? thx

I checked my Installed Programs list, and "Apple Application Support" appears as an installed program in my Windows PC. Looks like a necessary? component to use Quicktime. Try a new download and/or re-install, and choose the Standard install, if there is one.
