We have the CS5 disks in hand and the notebook . . .
Our concern B4 attempting install is with the problems we have seen on Adobe Forums with failed installs of CS5 particularly on machines that have a history [recorded in their registry] of prior CS installations and the we feel the pain of those who labored days to get a clean install.
So here are our questions for those who know how to make the Install EZ:
1. Is it OK to go with a registry that is full of old CS Adobe stuff?
2. Should Windows automatic updates be disabled B4 Install?
3. Can we control which partition on our C:/ drive the CS5 is placed?
4. Any wild card tips out there on how to proceed with full Master Collection Install?
We humbly ask this question in the hopes of "Better Safe than Sorry"
