I'm looking at getting a pair of widescreen LCDs to work off but have questions about a video card. The monitors I'm looking at do native 1440x900 resolution. I will be spanning my desktop across the two. There are all sorts of video cards that do better than that resolution, but I don't know if they do the native resolution. I don't want to be looking at soft images on the screen. Does anyone know if it matters what card I get for this setup? Would anything like a MSI R4850-512M with 2560x1600 res work just fine? I've done plenty of dual-monitor setups, but none with widescreen monitors.
Thanks! TC
