I want to transfer subtitles on a dvd.
I have the .vob files naturally and on vlc or any other dvd player the subtitles are perfect. I have used xsilisoft, and a whole bunch of subtitle rippers but I keep getting .idx-sub files and can't seem to open them in my DVD architect pro software. What do I do?

if DVD architect could import STL-files you might try google-search for "subrip"(freeware).

it´s a PC-app that could create subtitle-files from existing VOB-files.

if you are on a mac, you could use cinematize pro.

cheers

michael,
subrib has an OCR-software within and you need to tell him the correct character. very simple...

so - with a bit of work you´ll get correct ripped subtitles.

cheers
