Over 4 Hour DVD

Hello,
I am wrapping up editing a Hindu wedding that I shot over the course of two days. The final edited product is going to be about 4.5 - 5 hours long. Will it be possible to fit this on a DVD? I think the max you can fit on a dual layer disk is 4 hours.
I'm coming out of FCP 6. Generally I just use iDVD to burn disks, but I could use DVD Studio Pro as well.
Any suggestions as to how I can get this video to fit on one disk would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to split it up onto more than one disk.
For 5 hours you're look at a avg bitrate of 3.5
For 4 hours you're look at a avg bitrate of 4.0
These are both DVD-9
Compressor doesn't do a very good job at these bitrates so I'd seriously look at using another encoder like Bitvice or Cinemacraft MP plug-in for the Mac

Yeah it kind of depends on some factors- number one is this a dual layer disc and also what can you live with in terms of lowered video quality. At 5 hours on a dual layer Compressor can look pretty decent as long as you keep your expectations in check.
