DVD slide show not playing in Windows Media Player

I have created a DVD in DVD Studio Pro 4 for a client. The entire DVD is a slide show with Menu and 5 sections. It is a Training DVD, so there is a pause after every slide, and advances when Next Chapter button is pressed.
The DVD works fine on any DVD player, in Apples DVD player and works with Cyberlink DVD player.
But it won't play in Windows Media Player. I can see the DVD links in a list view, but they just won't play or display the slides.
Is there a codec or plugin needed to play the DVD the way I have it setup?
Also Real Player seems to be a problem too I'm told from someone who tested the DVD out on that player.
Is it just that these low level players that don't work?
