Multi Region Blue Ray Authoring.

I'm trying to put together a Blue Ray authoring set up that has the ability to produce Discs that can be viewed in both the US and UK.
It has been my experience with DVD that this feature is handled on the software side of things, either by selecting which region you want, or by allowing all regions to play.
I'm just curious if this is the same way with Blue Ray, and if so can anyone recommend a good marriage of burner and software to use? We are currently running the Avid Media Composer V3.1.1

Yeah it's weird- I see nothing about region coding on any Blu-Ray box and yet once in a while I'll get a disc from another country that gives a region code error so it must exist. Avid on Mac or PC? Really the only option right now short of spending a fortune or hiring someone else is Adobe Encore.

Here are Blu-ray's regions (although regioning will probably be the least of your concerns in authoring BDs).
A: East Asia (except Mainland China and Mongolia), Southeast Asia, the Americas.
B: Africa, Southwest Asia, Europe (except Russia), Oceania and their dependencies.
C: Central Asia, East Asia (Mainland China and Mongolia only), South Asia, central Eurasia and their dependencies.

Thanks for the replies.
Noah, we are running on PC. Our main authoring method as of now is Encore.
Max, thanks for the region info, but it sounds like you think I am overlooking something, am I going to encounter any other problems I might not be aware of?

Hey Josh,
The good news that unless you plan to replicate your Blu-ray disc, you won't have to worry about region settings. This is because regional settings are applied at the replication stage and only at the replication stage. So if you are using Encore as your Blu-ray Authoring tool then you are good to go.
If you are looking to replicate your Blu-ray discs then you might want to look at a different Blu-ray Authoring tool.
Cheers,
Denny B.
