Adding data folders to a DVD authored for video playback
by Jason Cemanski on Jan 2, 2008 at 7:57:30 pm

I usually use DVD Studio Pro, and I don't think it has the ability to do this, but i'm trying to author a DVD to play video when you insert into a DVD player, but when you insert it into a computer you can open up the disc to view data folders. Is there a program out there that can do this and if so how?

Google "cd autorun". Will work, but only on Windows machines.

I work on the PC and utilize programs that allow the addition of a "Data" folder.

If you do add DVD-ROM stuff, just make sure you burn the DVD-VIDEO section in the correct order/sequence so that your DVD Player will be able to playback the DVD-VIDEO properly.

Regards,
George
