A job for Ulead dvd workshop?

hello...

I want to burn some episodes in a dvd. The problem is the dimensions of my videos are not allowed on adobe encore....so i finally decided to use ulead's dvd workshop.....

-is this software good or great?

-my videos are: DURATION=50minutes, CODEC=Xvid, SIZE=699mb each. They have excellent quality (wich matters to me most) I know I will only be able to put 2 episodes per dvd (so the settings should be Good Quality-120mn insted of high quality-60mn) But i was wondering if there would be any big quality loss because of this settings....

-I'm using subtitles too so i was wondering how visible do they look on screen cuz i didint saw they had any strokes or shadow option in ulead.

Encode XVid Videos with CCE or Canopus proCoder (calculate bitrate)
Then use any authoring software - Ulead, Architect, Encore, Maestro, Scenarist...

Great! So i wont lose any quality?

-I actually have Cinema Craft Encoder Sp2!...so guide me a little bit here....

once i open my xvid file on CCE Sp2, what should i do from there?

Ohh:) Again:

Your DVD is 4'700'000.
4700000 divide MINUTES divide 60 multiply 8 multiply 0.96 = total bitrate
If you want to use AC3 sound at 192, then:
Video bitrate = total bitrate minus 192
Audio bitrate - 192
Just set parametrs in CCE and press encode :)

Why re-encode an ecoded file? ---->I promise I wont make this any longer, this is my last post on this threa >_<

because DVD can accept only MPEG1 or MPEG2 streams, not xvid/divx/mov etc
