Play All button wont live up to its name

i'm using dvd studio pro 2 and i cannot make the play all button which i've created play anything beyond the first movie in the menu. i've built the end scripts and set the target to which the script should jump...but it consistently jumps back to the main menu instead.
the only solution left that i can come up with is to change it to a play nothing button. i'm sure my client will be less than impressed, however.
any help would be appreciated. immediate help would be downright wonderful.
