Stock footage
by Jon Kalizenski on Jun 26, 2009 at 7:01:37 pm

Hey Guys, I know I've posted this question before but. I'm still looking for a reasonably priced stock footage website for my documentary. I've of course been on artbeats, istock,pond5, but the clips are pretty expensive and are just breaking my budget. Does anybody know of any other sites for good HD stock footage that won't break the bank?

In that little box upper right of your page titled, "Search," type in: stock footage. Hit the search button, and you have the posts with the answers.

Rick's right...

But as an addendum... if the project's budget doesn't allow footage from istockphoto, you may be in for a hard search. Their stuff is typically dirt cheap... usually much less than other stock sources. I'm not sure if I've ever heard of any high-quality footage sources that are less expensive than iStock.
