i get glitches on the bottom of the frame. i work with 10Bt uncompressed, i bought this drive from a supplier who no longer sells them [in the uk] any way is this a firmware problem

Hi,
Very possible an issue with firmware. There would be a few questions I would have to clear a path for trouble shooting.
1. Is this the first you have used the unit on this MAC?
2. What is the MAC and operating system you are currently running?
3. What is the SCSI controller and driver version? Have you updated it.
4. There is a configuration on the Medea controller that might need to be looked at. You will need the Null modem cable. One did ship with the unit, and a PC to check the controllers setup. Have you been in hyperterminal to check out the controller?
Let mw know.
