Creating a line spark effect WITHOUT CC particle world (with trapcode particular?)

Hi everyone!
This is my first post on these forums, I'm kinda new to AE.
How can I create particles that look like the line particles from cc particle world using trapcode particular?

I don't want to use CC particle world because it has a minimum setting for the birth rate, and it's too much. I need less particles, so if anyone has a solution to THIS problem you are more than welcome to share your thoughts.
