Hi
I'm trying to isolate just what is moving in some DSLR footage shot with a tripod.

The goal is to make what isn't moving disappear(transparent) so I can layer it over other footage.

Is their a filter or technique to do this?

It is a bit tricky to setup, but that is what the difference matte is designed to do - http://help.adobe.com/en_US/aftereffects/cs/using/WS3878526689cb91655866c11...
