OK - I don't even know what to call this question. I have some AI paths that I've built up into a sort of "fabric" using the Object/Blend function. Can I bring those into AE and animate groups of points along the paths as a group? Video below should shed light on my question.
I can bring them into PS as a "smart object." Is there
A - a similar way to import them as a single object (and maintain the spline points for animation? or
B - a way to create a similar object in AE w/o going to Illustrator first?

Thanks for any input!

I got the paths into AE by copying and pasting them onto a null object. now they are masks and I can animate the masks. Now how can I make them visible as curves?
