Interact With Text

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for suggestions in creating an effect where
I place a 3D text graphic in a room in front of a coffee table
what I want to try is keying out the table placing the 3D graphic
infront of the table and making it look like I'm sitting on the text. I dont know if this effect would work ? maybe using greenscreen, everything I have tried wont work.
