	Logo that wraps around a person..using AE CS3? by Gary DeGennaro on Jul 8, 2008 at 12:23:00 am Hi, I want to make the company logo fly/wrap around a person. For example, the commercial is for back pain. There is video of a person with red throbbing aching back pain. Then the back pain product logo flies in and wraps around the persons midsection around the back (like superman flying around the earth) and flies away. The pain is gone. 	Re: Logo that wraps around a person..using AE CS3? by scott novasic on Jul 8, 2008 at 3:14:35 am I agree with Ron, your best shot in ae is with a mesh, or I would use a bezier warp and have both layers in 3d space. You may or may not have to use some layering tricks and or a mask to make it work. 3d is best if you have the skills. 	Re: Logo that wraps around a person..using AE CS3? by peter mcauley on Jul 9, 2008 at 5:37:11 pm Hi Gary, If you use Boris RED 4 as a plug-in inside of AE CS3 then you can place the person on a plane, place the logo on a cylinder and place the plane and the cylinder into a 3D container. Then you can rotate the cylinder and the logo will wrap around the person just as you wanted it to. You can download the Boris RED 4 trial version and use it for free without watermark for two weeks. I think it demonstrated swirling a string of text around an object. Sorry, can't recall where I saw it, but I believe expressions were used extensively. Maybe Computer Arts magazine? hmmmm Color Grading presets for After Effects, Premiere, etc., plus free presets and more.
