I'm working on editing a multi cam shoot in Avid Media Composer 6. There are not any individual sound clips and I want to sync all the clips to the audio from the main camera. Is there a way to make all angles use one audio source?

at the top of the source window you can select which audio track to use.
Also whether to cut audio with video or not.

If the audio is already in your sequence ret click segment and choose your track ( you can also do this with video, to change selection without adding an edit point.)
