Hi,
I am having difficulties in key framing the Time Warp(IE when I key frame some segments of the clip the last part of the clip turns out be a freeze frame.I can't seem to find an answer for this as I have just migrated from fcp I am very new to all this. Please help.

Unlike FCP, their is no option to shorten the clip as you speed it up so if you speed it up so much that you reach the end of the media by the time the clip ends then Avid simply freezes on the final frame of the media. You can either trim the clip or reduce the speed to fix this.
