Grant GommAMA question

I'm a FCP user who recently realized that yes I in fact do need to know Avid. So I've downloaded the trial for Mac and I'm following the tutorials on the Avid site with the downloaded project files. In one of these lessons, Linking to Media Using AMA, they talk about connecting P2 files using Link to AMA Volume (video TC 01:35).

I'm instructed to go to File>Link to AMA Volume. Then browse to the folder containing the P2 footage. I select the folder containing the LASTCLIP.TXT and the CONTENTS folder. This is where it gets different from the tutorial. The tutorial says avid creates a bin automatically and ingests the footage...

However, for me I get a window that pops up asking me which bin I want to select with several options. I've actually tried all of them, and I get the same error:
Unable to link to any clips at /Users/etc...

Does anyone know what causes this problem? Is this normal? Perhaps it's the tutorial material that somehow is corrupt, or could it be that I need a plugin (if so, what plugin?)

Thanks for your help...

The only AMA plugin pre-loaded in MC 5.5 is the one for Quicktime ProRes. The other plugins (panny P2 sony, canon, etc.) are available for download from the Avid support site.

Thanks Dan, I finally found it. I kind feel like i'm in a gigantic maze at their site and the only way around it is to already know exactly what I'm looking for. Oh well, at least I've found it. For anyone else looking for the plugins, here's the link. Thanks again.

I love Avid, but HATE their website! it's horrible, I can never find anything.

The Avid website is the reason I didn't include the link in my reply. I found it last week when I was trying to link to avchd, but couldn't find it again when i responded to you. I have now started to bookmark places I might want to visit again.
