full screen playback not clean in MC
by Tudor Paslaru on Aug 29, 2009 at 8:41:50 pm

Hi, I am trying for a few days to get a clean full screen playback from MC, but nothing changes. Images has a strange look, looks like frames cut one into each other, here is a sample. Could you help me, I really want to work in MC, I spent too much of my health because of Premiere.
My configuration is:
HP xw8400 dual xeon dual core 3Ghz, 16GB ram
vista 64bit sp1
nvidia quadro fx 1500 (driver version 169, the one supplied with MC)
media composer 3.5.1 software only
Sony LMD-2451 monitor for full screen playback
Horizontal flip function in MC disabled

Thanks a lot

Are you sure you are not in half quality mode?

Hi, no, I am sure, I actually tried to change the quality settings but those "lines" still appear, it looks like in this picture(i tried to reproduce it in PS). The only thing that quallity setting changed was the sharpness of the image.
It seems to me it is a GPU/OpenGL problem, or maybe a refresh setting, I don't know.

You mention a picture, but I don't see any.

Are you on 3.5 or on another 3.x release? On non-3.5 revisions, open the console and type "fsp locked". See if that helps.
