Nitris / with NEHALEM Mac problem

Just switched over from pc to mac. Seems Avid "approved" the Nehalem system without checking the graphics card response. Titles and motion effects look like crap. I believe they're missing a field. They pulse at the top of the frame. It used to be when making a title in Title Tool or Marguis, once it was played on the source monitor in Avid, it would "clean up". Not the case with this "approved" Nehalem and graphics card....
There ARE TWO PROBLEMS:
1. The above mentioned "cleans up" on an external NTSC / Client monitor until you look closer and realize that any applied motion is corrupt and possibly missing a field or something. I don't know what exactly. Not acceptable for broadcast! Not acceptable for anything.
If Avid "tested" the system, then one must ask: Who at Avid tested the system, and what did they test? Turns out this problem is NOT isolated to my particular system. It can be replicated on any Nehalem
"approved" Mac. So far Avid has not responded with help.
Anyone out there know something? The whole idea here is to not buy
obsolete editing computers because Avid is so slow to act.
The Harpertown is stable. The HP 8600 is stable. Both have been
left in the dust.FCP works perfectly on the Nehalem...
