I have read through many of the threads on this forum as well as others concerning this "No Dongle Found" problem and I just can't seem to find a case where all of the particulars line up for me. I had been running the same version of Avid(5.6.4) and my OS has not changed since the last time I was able to successfully run the program. I have never had any problems, with my Avid Xpress Pro program on My mac, until now. Even when I ran the dongle dumper, it can't find my dongle. I also tried as previous posts have suggested to install the sentinel Super pro driver(there is only one available for macs) and still nothing. I have since unistalled the program and reinstalled the a newer version, same message. I tried an idea from another thread by becoming a superuser and running the kext but it can't find it. I am at a total loss, if anyone has a suggestion I would really appreciate it.
Here are all of my specifics:

Can you take your dongle to a different computer and try if Dongle Manager or Dongle Dumper recognise the dongle?
From what you describe, either the USB bus of your computer has gone bad, or the dongle is toast. If the latter appears to be the issue, contact support and have it replaced.

I tried the dongle on my Freind's PC and it recognizes the dongle is there. He doesn't have avid so I couldn't run dongle dumper on his computer. Will I be able to utilize this dongle if I reset it on another system?

When I plug the Dongle into the PC it wants to install superpro to the dongle, So I know the system is at least recognizing the device, which my mac won't do at all, no matter what USB port I use, and they are all functioning properly. When I plug the dongle in to either system the Green light does come on, but I can find no way to locate the Dongle on my MAC and the PC recognizes an outside device immediately. I suppose that just because the PC recognizes the Dongle, it doesn't mean that it isn't fried, right?
