OMF or EDL repair

Hi I have 14 old EDL (and OMF) files from my old project in AVID MCXpress system which I am trying to load on the MC3.
I was able to batch digitize all the footage but am getting fatal errors when trying to open a timeline.
I am getting the following message:
"An Error has occurred:
ClassATrack Group should have implemented this method! File:/snapshots/releng.relnginatel1-1211510498/vobs/cresw/core/projects/MAC/...srg/base/AObjects.c, Line 168"
What can I do to fix this problem or to cure my EDLs?
or alternatively - who might be able to clean the edl files as a service?

What version is this coming from? If Media Composer Xpress... there should be a project folder with .avp (project) and .avb (bins). Unless this is a very early version of the product.

This was generated by MCXPRESS 1.5 for PC in Year 2000.
there were PRJ files and small STS files.
the project file is 65 MB the EDLs are small - I wonder How they might be cleaned
