exporting sequence to XDCAM

Trying to export a 3:30 minute, 1080i, 35MB, 16bit, sequence to Sony XDCAM...starts out fine...then just quits.

Sequence has some up converted SD on the timeline. One sequence written back to disk played back in XD deck fine until first frame of HD footage appeared, then quit.

Media Composer is giving me no errors...it just stops.

Any ideas?
