HDV through FireWire or SDI

Hey! I have material which is shut in progressive PAL HDV, and I ust want it captured. I've tried, but can't get it to work. i've tried 1080i/25 HDV, 1080p/25, 25i,25p... and I can't get it to work! Does anyone know some way I can get it in.... I'm using Media Composer 2.7.2...

no.
720 is your only buddy, man.
2.7.2 offers no HDV support although it is advertised as doing so.
