Removing seleced audio tracks from a subclip

Hi there,
I'm working as a trainee on a picture shooting on the RED. we have been taking in the raw footage and making offline quality QTs of them, then taking them into avid, syncing up the sound and then making subclips of each take, with all the audio tracks.
However, the editor only wants the first two mixed down tracks in each subclip to work with, is there a way to remove the other tracks from the subclip without having to make another subclip altogether?
any help would be great,
