Editing HDV with MC v3.0 and Mojo SD

Seeking advice here...we'll just be shooting a bit of HDV footage for now (mostly area beauty shots) and mixing it with standard DV on the timeline.
With only Media Composer v3.0 software (and a leftover SD Mojo) will we have any trouble editing and mastering to standard DV tape, MPEG2 files for channel playback, and to DVD for distribution?
We're using a Canon XH-A1 for HDV and Panasonic DVX100B's for DV.
We have a FS-C Firestore to capture the HDV field footage with. Prefer not to use Sorenson--too time consuming.
Just curious if MCv3 will work for us or not. Thank you.
