	Can you tranfer an Avid Project to Final Cut Pro? by Jacqueline Weissman on Jun 20, 2008 at 1:15:33 am Hi All, I'm new to this list so please forgive me if this has been discussed before. I'm an Avid editor using the latest version of Media Composer. I have a big project that I want to give to another editor who uses Final Cut Pro. Is there anyway I can use another piece of software to transfer over the entire project? I know Automatic Duck will help me transfer sequences but I have entire logged bins of clips I want to transfer. Does anyone know any process for this? Thanks so much. Then (you, if on a Mac, or the FCP editor) use donationware Sebsky Tools ale2fcp utility to convert the ALE files to batch lists which can be imported in FCP.
