saving presets for an effect.

hi im trying to save presets for matte key to apply to all the other ones i have to put in.
I can do it with a bcc effect in the quick transition bin, but with the matt key it does not work........


help!

with your effect pallet open, just drag that effect icon to a bin.

Yes but when i apply that effect to the next graphic I have to apply that effect to every group in the effect editor... like: level,scalling,position etc... there must be an easier way...........

Maybe you're missing something.

Add an effect to a clip
Change it's parameters the way you want.
Look at the Effect Palette
In the upper right corner you will see the Effect Icon
Drag that to a Bin
This saves your custom effect to your Bin

Find another clip you want to add the same effect to, and apply the custom effect to it by either selecting the clip in segment mode and double-clicking the saved effect icon or drag the saved effect icon from the bin to the clip in the timeline.
