upgrade from Xpress DV 3.0

	upgrade from Xpress DV 3.0 by jack entonces on Jun 14, 2008 at 11:20:56 pm Does anyone know if there is a direct upgrade from Avid Xpress DV 3.0 to Media Composer? Or do I have to upgrade to Xpress Pro first, then to Media Composer? I searched the Avid site and it says you have to do two upgrades to get to MC. But I'm wondering if that's changed and they just haven't updated their site yet. thanks Respond to this post Return to posts index


	Re: upgrade from Xpress DV 3.0 by Michael Hancock on Jun 15, 2008 at 3:24:41 pm I'm certain I saw a post from Marianna Montague on the Avid forums that there was a direct upgrade from Xpress DV to Media Composer 3, but I can't find it, and it's not listed in the Avid online store. Call your reseller--they should have it if it's available. Otherwise, you might have to do the DV to Xpress upgrade for $495, then Xpress to MC for $495. Michael.
