audio sync

Hello again
I was wondering how to go about synching audio to the timeline.
I've got one video track with two audio tracks and I want to add two more [audio] tracks, to match the existing sequence. Sometimes the new audio has the same TC (and sometimes it doesn't). The way I go about doing it now is if the TC matches I match frame from the timeline and get the exact TC then I find the audio source and find the same TC there and pop it into the timeline.
This is very timeconsuming. I've tried grouping and autosyncing but that seems to flatten the four audio tracks into two, which I don't want.

A group clip will allow you switch to the audio tracks as an alternate take. AutoSync expects all tracks to be unique A1, A2, A3, etc. before a new clip can be created. Making a seqeunce in one way of doing that - just highlight the sequence when done andn AytoSync to create a new subclip.

Outside of match-framming, you can do it visually. Takes more time but any of us who worked in linear suites have done it. Use words with visuals like Ps. You can lock em up on that letter.
So you dont have to do this over and over, you can create a new sequence from this then use that sequence as a source if you like.
