I desperately need your help. I shot all my interviews in 24p DV but have all my other old footage in 30i NTSC DV. Should I edit the media composer project in 24p or 30i? Final output will be most likely PAL. Any pulldown issues to be carefull of? I noticed that if I import my 24p footage in a 30i project the footage gets changed to 29.97 frame rate. But if I input my 30i footage in a 24p project they both stay the same. Is this correct? Sorry I'm still a newbie, so if this is a stupid question, forgive me. :-)

Seeing as you have mixed frame rates on your sources, you will be better off in a 30i project. 30i is a bit of a misnomer and still there due to legacy issues, but the frame rate is really 29.97.
Your DV tape is also 29.97 that has 23.976 frames with 2:3 pulldown creating the full 59.94 fields of the NTSC signal.
Capturing 24p (23.976) in your 30 (29.97) will look fine, but capturing native 30i (29,97) in a 24p (23.976) project will look like hell.
