convert 23.976 to 24fps?

Does anyone know the best way to conform a 23.976 project to 24fps? I'm cutting a project in 23.976 DNxHD 36, and will want to conform it in After Effects using Automatic Duck to convert the Avid sequence to an AE project. When I change the frame rate in After Effects, and use a 24 fps Quicktime as a reference, the clips all shift in time. Is there an easier way to do this? Or is it even necessary to convert to 24fps for outputting 24fps DPX frames? Can I just keep it at 23.976 and output 24fps DPX sequence?

A frame is a frame, it is a playback issue by the playback system. As long as you are workng in frames back and forth, 23.976 and 24 should have no bearing.
